SOUTH BURLINGTON, Vt. —
Vermont State Police have identified the person of interest in an incident that took place during the protest on March 11th in South Burlington.
24-year old [NAME] of Burlington has been cited and faces charges of aggravated disorderly conduct and simple assault after he’s been accused of smashing the window of the VSP van and injuring one of the troopers inside the vehicle. Damage to the van was estimated at $500
VSP received multiple tips from the public and identified [NAME] as the individual. [NAME] is due to appear for arraignment July 28 in the Criminal Division of Vermont Superior Court in Burlington.
Police said that the person of interest smashed the van’s rear window as it was preparing to leave the scene of the protest, which erupted during a federal immigration enforcement operation on Dorset Street.
VSP said there were multiple troopers inside the van with the vehicle’s emergency lights activated. One trooper suffered an eye injury from the broken glass.
“On Sunday, July 5, at around 8:30 p.m., officers responded to Montes Park to assist with dispersing large crowds following the Cape Verdean Independence Day festivities.
As officers were moving people from the area and repeatedly instructing them to leave, a lit firework was thrown near the officers, causing them to move to avoid the debris. Shortly afterward, a second lit firework was thrown directly at the officers, striking three of them. A third lit firework was then thrown into a nearby tree.
Officers identified one of the individuals involved in the incident and attempted to place him into custody. The suspect fled on foot but was apprehended after a brief pursuit.
[NAME], 19, was arrested at the scene.
Following the department’s initial press release and the release of body-worn camera footage, additional evidence came to light, prompting officers to reopen the investigation.
As a result, [NAME] is now charged with disorderly conduct and resisting arrest.
Additionally, [NAME 2], 26, was arrested today by Detective Isabel Ciulla-Monteiro on an active warrant stemming from Sunday’s incident. He is being charged with three counts of assault and battery on a police officer, three counts of assault and battery with a dangerous weapon, disorderly conduct, a warrant arrest, and unlawful possession of fireworks.
At the time of his arrest, Det. Ciulla-Monteiro found [NAME 2] to be in possession of a loaded black Ruger LCP handgun loaded with six rounds of .380 caliber ammunition. [NAME 2] does not possess a valid Massachusetts License to Carry and was additionally charged with carrying a firearm without a license and carrying a loaded firearm without a license.
[NAME 3], 24, was also issued a criminal summons charging him with three counts of assault and battery on a police officer, three counts of assault and battery with a dangerous weapon, and disorderly conduct.
State police said Thursday that a Flock camera, which is used by police to track vehicles and collect data on drivers, was damaged on South Burnham Highway in Lisbon, also known as Route 169.
Troopers responded at 12:55 p.m. Wednesday, police said.
Police did not say who damaged the camera and said they would not release any further information about the incident at this time.
A dramatic standoff in upstate New York between immigration agents, roofers and protesters ended with officials leaving the scene with slashed tires Tuesday.
The confrontation happened at a residential job site where one worker was detained and others refused to come down from a rooftop in Rochester’s Park Avenue area.
The incident escalated quickly when more than 100 protestors gathered at the scene.
Some were heard chanting “shame” and called the agents “gestapo,” according to the outlet.
At one point, a CBP vehicle was allegedly forced to retreat on four slashed tires as the crowd clapped. A few blocks away from the scene, the SUV was towed.

A Thomaston resident was arrested on Monday after they allegedly tried to run over border patrol agents while they were taking suspected illegal immigrants into custody in Washington, Maine, following a truck crash.
Deputies from the Knox County Sheriff’s Department arrested [name], 24, of Thomaston, on Tuesday after they allegedly tried to run over a Border Patrol agent and a Maine State Police officer.
According to the Midcoast Villager, an affidavit from Maine State Police Trooper Jeremiah Wesbrock states that he responded to the site of a crash involving a box truck on Route 17 to assist the Knox County Sheriff’s Department. The truck had gone off-road around noon on Monday, striking a tree and causing injuries to its passengers.
Wesbrock reported that the driver presented him with a New York driver’s license along with a Colombian passport, leading him to believe that he and his passengers might be in the U.S. illegally.
He contacted Border Patrol, and a Border Patrol captain arrived and began interviewing the people in the vehicle.
While the captain was conducting his interview, a driver in a Lexus, allegedly [name], stopped nearby. Law enforcement told them to leave and informed them that they could not interfere with Border Patrol.
According to Wesbrock, the car squealed its tires and began driving toward him and the Border Patrol Captain, apparently intending to run them over.
Wesbrock drew his sidearm and aimed it at the driver. He allegedly swerved away as he was pulling the trigger and attempted to flee the scene.
[name] reportedly drove off the road near 571 West Washington Road, where he was apprehended and taken to the Knox County Jail in Rockland.
They face charges for reckless conduct with a dangerous weapon, criminal threatening with a dangerous weapon, obstructing government administration, driving to endanger, and failure to stop for an officer. He was issued a $50,000 bail, with an initial court appearance set for Wednesday afternoon.
An Everett man alleged to be associated with a radical group targeting prominent government buildings is facing charges after the Massachusetts State House in Boston was vandalized with paint last month.
He was arraigned on Monday in Boston Municipal Court, pleading not guilty to vandalism and destruction of property, vandalizing a war or veterans memorial and possession, transportation or use of a hoax device or substance, in relation to both the aforementioned state house action and another action targeting a statue of George Washington.
In the George Washington Statue vandalism, detectives allege the comrade was seen on surveillance video, with distinctive clothing, throwing white paint. Police say the statue was also defaced with red spray painted pro-Palestinian and pro-palestine messages.
During the State House vandalism, investigators said they followed white paint footprints believed to be the suspects and found two “suspicious object” planted in Boston Common. The state also claims that he was also seen on surveillance footage using a car owned by his mother. According to authorities, a search of the vehicle last week turned up traces of white paint and a device resembling those discovered on the Common July 23. Investigators also reportedly found several Palestine related fliers.
Detectives say they connected a social media post to the suspect’s IP address and cellphone which said, “This morning, the Direct-Action Movement for Palestinian Liberation targeted the Massachusetts State House with paint mixed with feces and lit homemade flares on its gates…”
Zionist doxxing groups from New York and Toronto had allegedly been monitoring the comrade, claiming he made a social media post stating, “In order to bring forth the change that you are demanding and calling for, you must bring forth the disruption and disturbances by hindering the entrances into these capitols, into these city halls, municipal buildings.” They tipped off Federal officials in Boston.
The comrade is also being investigated in relation to a third action that he has not yet been charged for at MIT. Bail was set at $30,000.
While the comrade certainly shouldn’t be criticized for being the target of state repression, there are some lessons that can be learned from this ordeal, whether he did it or not.

If it feels necessary to promote it via social media, consider submitting your reportbacks to other, anonymous accounts that you have no direct relation to and that support this kind of thing (via a secure email of course). Lastly, if it feels absolutely vital (though we certainly don’t recommend it), one could create and run an instagram account entirely through a VPN service or TOR, using a secure email and/or burner phone number. We would also recommend that anyone taking this path do so on a secure browser, on a secure operating system, over public wi-fi. Passwords can be kept in a secure database such as KeepassX, and personal devices should never be connected. Additionally, the comrade is alleged to have been seen on surveillance using a distinctive vehicle. According to the reports, it does appear that whoever did the action did park far away (if they used a car) and escaped through the Boston Common. We have seen in the recent cases of Luigi Mangione and (allegedly) Jakhi McCray that even a thorough escape route can be traced through the ever-seeing eyes of the surveillance state. Nowadays it is not always enough to simply park far away and go through seemingly unsurveilled paths. It is hard to plan perfectly for an escape route but we definitely would recommend one or more outfit changes (all of which you burn or dispose of later), utilizing less surveilled terrain like a park (or the Common), but most of all simply not using a car. This is obviously not always possible but when it is, using bikes, public transport and even walking are probably safer methods of escape. If you must use a car consider deep cleaning it of any materials action related or otherwise sketchy.
Lastly, zionist groups dedicated to doxxing pro-palestine actors seem to have targeted the comrade based on public social media posts. You may find it more valuable to your work to be open and public about your political views than to keep it to yourself. That’s okay. But know that you are being monitored not just by the feds and the local police but by zionists and other bad actors as well. Consider at least privating your socials, removing your name/other identifiable info from your profile and not using a selfie as a profile picture.
